Lena's perceptions became a double-edged sword. On one hand, she could navigate complex social situations with ease, understanding people's motivations and desires. She could sense when someone was lying or hiding something. On the other hand, she was constantly bombarded by the thoughts, emotions, and experiences of those around her. It was like having a never-ending stream of consciousness pouring into her mind. Lena smiled back, feeling a sense of belonging
